Programming a custom product-type classifier (heuristics & keyword matching) that analyzed 3,491 unstructured quote lines. Simultaneously, hundreds of companies were automatically mapped to industry segments (utilities, municipalities, construction).

  • Classification rate of free-text line items pushed from 64% up to ~90%
